Destination: Mkomazi Explore Mkomazi on a full safari day through dry savannah and acacia country near the Kenya border. The park forms part of a wider ecosystem connected to Tsavo and is important for elephant movement, arid-land species and conservation work. Any specialised rhino or conservation visit must be booked under the current park program rather than assumed automatically.

Usambara
Destination: Usambara / Mkomazi Descend from the Usambara highlands and travel toward Mkomazi National Park. Depending on departure time and park entry arrangements, an afternoon wildlife drive may be possible. Mkomazi's dry landscapes and the Pare-Usambara mountain backdrop create a strong contrast with the green highlands.
Night accommodation: Lawns Hotel Lushoto after transfer
Usambara
Destination: Usambara / Lushoto Take a locally guided walk through farms, villages and forest-edge scenery toward the Irente area and selected viewpoints. The exact route is adjusted to weather and fitness, with time to learn about highland agriculture and daily life. The Usambara program is about slow travel and landscape connection rather than technical trekking.

Destination: Usambara / Mambo Travel deeper into the Usambara Mountains toward the Mambo area, combining road transfer with selected walking sections when practical.
