A safari with room to feel every moment.
This compact family safari is designed around two high-value wildlife areas rather than trying to fit the Serengeti into an unrealistic four-day road itinerary. Tarangire and Ngorongoro offer very different landscapes and wildlife experiences while keeping transfer times manageable for parents and children. Because the safari vehicle is private to the family, the guide can adjust rest stops, picnic timing and the length of game drives within park rules. The first night in Arusha also protects children from moving directly from an international flight into a long safari drive.
Why this works for families: Private vehicle means the family is not tied to another group's timetable. Only two major wildlife areas, reducing constant packing and long transfers. A relaxed arrival night before the first game drive. Family-room or connecting-room options can be requested where available.

Day by day
Follow the rhythm of your safari.
Each day is designed with a gentle balance of movement, discovery and time to simply be in the wild.
Arusha
Meet your Tamri International representative at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport and transfer to the hotel. The rest of the day is deliberately light so the family can recover from travel. A safari briefing can be arranged in the evening to discuss the vehicle, park route, children's needs, meal preferences and the next morning's departure time. Meals: Breakfast if applicable.
Tarangire
After breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park. The first family game drive introduces baobab country, the Tarangire River system and excellent opportunities to see elephants, giraffes, zebra, wildebeest and other plains wildlife. The guide can divide the day into shorter wildlife sessions if younger children need a break. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.
Ngorongoro
Enjoy another Tarangire wildlife drive before leaving the park and travelling toward Karatu and the Ngorongoro highlands. The afternoon is kept easier than a full transfer to the Serengeti, allowing the family to enjoy the lodge grounds, pool or downtime before the crater day. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.
Ngorongoro
Descend into Ngorongoro Crater for a focused game drive across grassland, woodland and wetland habitats. The crater gives families the chance to see a wide range of wildlife in a relatively compact area. After a picnic lunch and final game viewing, return to Arusha or continue to the airport according to the confirmed departure plan. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch.
