4-Day Nairobi to Tarangire & Ngorongoro Safari

Destination: Nairobi / Arusha Depart Nairobi for the road journey south to Namanga. Complete Kenya exit and Tanzania entry procedures, then continue with the Tanzania-side team toward Arusha. Border queues, traffic and document checks vary, so this day is intentionally treated as a transfer day rather than promising a major national-park game drive after arrival.

Night accommodation: Rivertrees Country Inn or Forest Hill Hotel

Destination: Tarangire Leave Arusha after breakfast and drive to Tarangire National Park. After entry formalities, begin a game drive among baobab woodland, open savannah and the Tarangire River system. The park is especially well known for elephants, while giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, antelope and predators are also possible. The day allows time for a picnic or lodge lunch before continuing wildlife viewing toward the overnight property.

Night accommodation: Sangaiwe Tented Lodge or Maramboi Tented Lodge

Destination: Tarangire / Ngorongoro Enjoy a final Tarangire wildlife drive before leaving the park and travelling toward Karatu and the Ngorongoro highlands. The shorter transfer creates a more relaxed day than driving directly to Serengeti, and it positions the group well for the crater the next morning. Arrive at the lodge with time for dinner and rest.

Night accommodation: The Retreat at Ngorongoro or Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge

Destination: Ngorongoro Enter the Ngorongoro Crater for a morning-to-midday safari, using the cooler hours for wildlife viewing before climbing out of the caldera. After lunch, continue to Arusha, Kilimanjaro International Airport or the next confirmed connection. The final transfer is planned conservatively; international flight timings should leave enough margin for road conditions and park formalities.
