15-Day Slow Safari & Zanzibar Journey

Destination: Arusha Meet the Tamri International team on arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport and transfer to your hotel. This first day is deliberately light so you can recover from the international journey, review the route with the safari team and confirm luggage, dietary and flight details. If arrival is early, a gentle optional Arusha activity can be arranged, but the itinerary does not force a long park transfer on the same day.

Destination: Tarangire Leave Arusha after breakfast and drive to Tarangire National Park. After entry formalities, begin a game drive among baobab woodland, open savannah and the Tarangire River system. The park is especially well known for elephants, while giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, antelope and predators are also possible. The day allows time for a picnic or lodge lunch before continuing wildlife viewing toward the overnight property.

Destination: Tarangire Spend a second day in Tarangire so the safari is not reduced to a quick transit stop. The guide can explore different river loops and woodland areas, adjusting the route to wildlife movement and season. A slower day is useful for elephant behaviour, birding and photography, and it also gives guests time to enjoy the lodge between game drives if preferred.

Destination: Tarangire / Ngorongoro Enjoy a final Tarangire wildlife drive before leaving the park and travelling toward Karatu and the Ngorongoro highlands. The shorter transfer creates a more relaxed day than driving directly to Serengeti, and it positions the group well for the crater the next morning. Arrive at the lodge with time for dinner and rest.

Destination: Ngorongoro / Arusha Descend to the Ngorongoro Crater floor for a focused safari among grassland, wetlands and forest patches inside the caldera. After a picnic lunch and final game drive, climb back to the highlands and continue to Arusha. Driving time varies with traffic, road conditions and the length of the crater visit.

Destination: Ngorongoro / Serengeti Descend into Ngorongoro Crater for a morning safari, then continue west through the conservation area toward Serengeti. This is a full day combining a major wildlife experience with an onward transfer, so pacing is important. After entering Serengeti, wildlife viewing continues en route to the overnight camp. Exact arrival depends on crater timing, gate procedures and road conditions.
